Who We Are

Pure Organic makes organic hair care products in Pakistan — sulphate-free shampoo, herbal hair oil and cold-process soap, produced by hand in small batches. Every formula is built on herbs and cold-pressed oils: amla, reetha, shikakai, onion, aloe vera and coconut. No sulphates, parabens, silicones, phthalates or synthetic fragrance.

We formulate for local conditions. Hard water, dust and heat are what actually damage hair in Pakistan, and a shampoo designed for European water does not account for any of it.

We make the products ourselves rather than ordering a white-label base and adding a scent. Our batches are filmed and published, from the 5 kg amla reetha shikakai shampoo cook to the 35-herb Magical Hair Oil infusion. Most brands ask you to trust a label. We show you the pot.

How We Make It

Most organic shampoo sold in Pakistan is a conventional surfactant base with herb extract stirred in near the end. It foams like a commercial shampoo because it is one. Read a few ingredient decks and you will find sulphates and silicones under labels that say chemical-free.

We make ours from scratch. Herbs are infused into cold-pressed oils over a slow heat cycle, then filtered and bottled by hand. A single batch of Magical Hair Oil carries 35 herbs across 7 base oils. Our Amla Reetha shampoo is cooked in 5 kg and 12 kg batches.

Pakistan has no organic certification body for cosmetics. That is exactly why we publish the list rather than lean on a label — an exclusion you can verify is worth more than a claim you cannot.

What to Expect in Your First Month

Switching from a sulphate shampoo takes an adjustment, and nobody in this category tells you that. Here it is:

• Week 1: less lather, hair may feel heavier. Your scalp is still over-producing oil to compensate for years of stripping.
• Week 2: oiliness peaks, then starts settling.
• Week 3: hair feels lighter, scalp less itchy.
• Week 4: texture stabilises.
• Weeks 8–12: reduced breakage becomes visible, because that is how long new growth takes to show.

A few other things worth knowing before you switch:

• Less lather is normal. Plant surfactants foam less than sulphates. Cleaning power and foam are not the same thing.
• Two washes after oiling. Normal, and not a sign of weak product.
• Shorter shelf life. Twelve months from opening, because we use plant-based preservatives.

What Our Products Cannot Do

Hair care in Pakistan is sold on promises that do not survive contact with evidence, so here is our side of it plainly.

Our shampoos and oils reduce breakage, improve scalp condition and protect the hair you have. They do not reverse androgenetic hair loss or a receding hairline, and no topical oil does. They do not fix shedding driven by thyroid disorder, iron deficiency, PCOS or postpartum hormone shifts — those are internal, and they need a doctor rather than a bottle.

Losing 50–100 hairs a day is normal. If you are shedding noticeably more than that for longer than three months, please see a physician first. We would rather lose the sale than take your money for something a shampoo was never going to fix.
